Data we collect and store

ByDiscovery gathers the same information you would gather through a "Contact Us" form, but in a better, more efficient way.

Data collected by ByDiscovery includes firmographics and Personal Data about individuals who use the ByDiscovery widget. ByDiscovery does not sell any Contact Data collected on behalf of clients or market its services to clients' visitors.

Categories of Data Subjects:

  • Customer’s end-user customers or prospects

Categories of Personal Data:

  • Name

  • Contact information (company, business email address and phone number)

  • IP Address*

  • Cookie Data**

*ByDiscovery only uses IP addresses to enrich the data, i.e. to determine if the IP address is associated with a company and then to provide additional information about that company, such as industry and number of employees.

**ByDiscovery only uses cookies to track your visitors' activity within your website, such as whether they visited a specific product or pricing page before engaging with a widget. In addition, ByDiscovery does not track or build profiles based on users across different domains.
